POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 4:09pm on August 16th after reports of an attempted assault involving kids at Tops in North Tonawanda.
The 911 caller – a 14-year-old female child – told police that a group of six girls were attempting to beat her up over silly string. The six females left Tops and were said to be possibly down the street at North Tonawanda High School.
Police responded to the scene and located the six female juveniles nearby. It is unknown if any of the juveniles were picked up or had their parents called by law enforcement. No further information is available at this time…
