BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls man is facing several charges after allegedly leading deputies on an overnight chase that ended in the parking lot of the Buffalo VA Medical Center, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said.
Officials said a vehicle fled from police after driving away from an attempted traffic stop on Niagara Falls Boulevard around 4 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle was pursued by deputies and several police departments.
Michael W. Oden, 51, has been charged with third-degree unlawful fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, as well as several vehicle and traffic violations, officials said. He was released on appearance tickets.
