CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Another road in downtown Cincinnati is now closed as part of the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project – and this will impact your morning commute.
Central Avenue shut down around 2 a.m. Thursday near Paycor Stadium, between Third Street and Pete Rose Way, for the Second Street ramp demolition.
Detours:
- Southbound traffic is being maintained with a detour on West Third Street, to left on the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge, to left on Second Street and right on Elm Street.
- Northbound traffic should use West Mehring Way and Elm Street to West Third Street.
- Pedestrians should follow West Third Street to Elm Street and West Mehring Way to Central Avenue.
Work on Central Avenue is scheduled to continue through Saturday, Sept. 12, but the road will be reopened for Labor Day weekend…
