The first time I pulled into the this drive-in, I felt like I had driven through a time warp. Five screens flickering against a summer sky, cars backed in with trunks open, kids in pajamas running between rows.
The marquee glowed the way marquees did before everything went digital. I paid less for two movies than one ticket at a regular theater, and the snack bar sold actual burgers, not just popcorn.
Watching a film from your car makes the whole experience feel more real. You can talk. Laugh too loud…
