RIO RANCHO — An Albuquerque man, formerly referred to as the “Bandit in Black”, was sentenced to 11 years in prison for carrying out four armed bank robberies in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque between January 2024 and July 2025.
Daniel Guliford, 40, was charged with stealing more than $140,000 and terrorizing bank employees and customers in those robberies, according to a release.
Guliford pleaded guilty to four counts of bank robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of using, carrying and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. When released from prison, Guliford will be subject to two years of supervised release…
