WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Suspended Palm Beach County Clerk Michael Caruso has added prominent criminal defense attorney and legal analyst Donna Rotunno to his legal team, according to his spokesperson.
Rotunno is known nationally for representing Harvey Weinstein in his 2020 New York sexual assault and rape trial. Caruso spokesperson Juda Engelmayer said Wednesday that Rotunno would be added to Caruso’s defense team.
Engelmayer also told CBS12 News that Caruso remains in the race for Palm Beach County clerk of the circuit court and comptroller and has not withdrawn his candidacy. He said the campaign would send an email if it has anything further to announce about the candidacy…
