A multi-stage, multi-year road construction project will soon start in the village of Caledonia, which will introduce roundabouts to significant traffic arteries in 2027.
Waukesha-based Zignego Co. Inc. won the low bid for more than $7 million to repave Wisconsin Highway 38 between Dunkelow Road and Linwood Road in Racine County.
The firm competed with Racine-based A.W. Oakes & Son, which bid more than $7.38 million, Rhinelander-based Musson Bros. Inc., which bid more than $7.5 million, and Waukesha-based LaLonde Contractors, which bid more than $8.3 million, for the state contract. The contract was awarded on July 30…
