SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Several Springfield fast-food workers are out of a job and struggling to make ends meet after they say their paychecks bounced.
While McDonald’s is a global brand, these specific workers are employed and paid by a local franchisee, MakShines, Inc., which took over three Springfield locations a little over a year ago. The affected stores include the McDonald’s locations on West Battlefield, West Kearney, and the North Kansas Expressway.
Bank statements employees provided to On Your Side show their payroll checks failed to clear this week. For some, this was a first-time occurrence, but others claim it is part of a growing pattern…
