COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The National Weather Service has confirmed four more tornadoes in Ohio tied to severe storms earlier this month, including one that flipped a vehicle on Interstate 71.
The NWS said the four confirmed tornadoes happened during the storms that moved through central Ohio on Aug. 11.
One of the newly confirmed tornadoes occurred in Upper Arlington just after 10 a.m. on Aug. 11. According to the NWS, the EF0 tornado had winds of 80 miles per hour and flipped a vehicle on I-71. The tornado had a maximum width of 150 yards and was on the ground for approximately three minutes. Watch previous coverage of the storms in the video player above.
