Beginning Friday and continuing throughout the weekend

(Hamilton County, Oh.) – Lane restrictions will be in place on Interstate 74 East and West beginning tomorrow and continuing throughout the weekend for bridge and pavement joint repairs as part of the I-74 resurfacing project.
Friday-Monday, August 28-31:
- Single-lane (left lane) closure on I-74 East at the E. Miami River Road bridge beginning at 9 a.m. Friday.
- Single-lane (right lane) closure on I-74 West, from the Wesselman Road overpass to the S.R. 128 interchange, beginning at 6 p.m. Friday.
- Single, left-lane closure on I-74 East to extend from the S.R. 128 interchange to the Wesselman Road overpass, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday.
- Closure of the middle lane on I-74 East for a double-lane closure between S.R. 128 interchange to the Wesselman Road overpass beginning at 8 p.m. Friday.
- Lane closures will be in place throughout the weekend, with all restrictions will be lifted by 6 a.m. Monday, August 31.
Project Overview
The I-74 resurfacing project extends from just west of the S.R. 128 interchange at Miamitown to the Rybolt Road/Harrison Avenue interchange. In addition to paving the interstate, the project includes minor bridge work such as deck sealing, expansion joint repairs, and drilling of fatigue cracks on the structures within the project limits, as well as on the West and New Haven Road bridges that carry traffic over I-74…
