Councilwoman wants to use local churches as way to keep kids safe while waiting for buses

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – As Louisville reels from Tuesday morning’s bus stop shooting, both city leaders and community members are brainstorming ways they can keep kids safe on their way to and from school.

Metro councilwoman Tammy Hawkins is trying out her own initiative, and now calling on the public to help.
