‘Festival Fright Nights at Winchester Mystery House’ is back

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – One of the spookiest locations in the Bay Area is once again turning up the scares with the return of “Festival Fright Nights at Winchester Mystery House.”

The event is a reimagined Halloween festival that the historic estate has in partnership with Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. It runs on select nights from September 18 through November 1.

This new season is introducing three terrifying attractions, interactive experiences, games, and returning favorites that allow guests a deep dive into some of the mysteries of the mansion.

New for 2026, “The House of Spirits” follows Sarah Winchester’s loyal butler after her death as he desperately tries to care for the estate as strange activity spreads through the halls. The butler struggles to contain the spirits as whispers, shadows, and unsettling encounters suggest the house is getting out of control…
