Detectives Appeal for Tips as Case Remains Open
No arrests have been announced in the shooting, and police have not released the victim’s name. The BPD Homicide Section is asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2100, or to submit an anonymous tip through Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland at 1-866-7LOCKUP, per WCBM News-Talk Radio.

Thursday’s shooting also echoes a March incident in which a man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in the 700 block of North Port Street, not far away in Southeast Baltimore, according to WBAL Radio. That case was among Hoodline’s earlier coverage of pre-dawn violence in East Baltimore.
