GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — As autumn approaches, a popular Wealthy Street soup shop is reopening for the year.
Uncle Cheetah’s Soup Shop, located at 1133 Wealthy St. SE near Fuller Avenue SE, is set to reopen Tuesday, Sept. 1, after a summer closure that spanned several weeks.

To start, the shop will have all of its soups and breads, as well as a few grilled cheeses, salads, drinks and desserts.
“Mostly we will be focusing on speed of service, guest interaction, soup samples, and quality,” the shop wrote in a social media post. “That is why I have chosen to open with a slightly limited menu and build up to our full menu based on customer suggestions real time in the shop.”…
