GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two school buses were involved in crashes in Kent County Friday morning, but deputies say no children were hurt.
BYRON CENTER BUS HIT BY VEHICLE
Just after 8 a.m., a Byron Center Public Schools bus was hit by a driver at the intersection of Ivanrest Avenue and Rush Creek Drive in Byron Township, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.
No children on the bus were hurt and neither was the bus driver. However, the driver of the other vehicle that crashed into the bus hurt their arm and was taken to the hospital, deputies say.
ROCKFORD BUS HIT BY BOX TRUCK
Around an hour later, there was a separate crash involving a school bus at 12 Mile Road NE and Edgerton Avenue NE in Algoma Township.
