(WSPA)—A Greenville-based restaurant chain has been forced to pay over $618,000 in back wages to over 700 employees.
The Department of Labor reported Tropical Grille Restaurant Group found record-keeping and overtime pay violations across 12 Upstate locations, including Anderson, Clemson, Easley, Greer, Lexington, Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Spartanburg, as well as five locations in Greenville on Pelham Road, Old Buncombe Road, South Main Street, Verdae Boulevard and Woodruff Road.
