A Pennsylvania man who broke into his ex-wife’s home and repeatedly struck her boyfriend in the head with a claw hammer has died in state prison, officials announced Friday, Aug. 28.
Richard Steven Newman, 68, formerly of Parkesburg, was found unresponsive in his cell at SCI Camp Hill on Friday morning, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
