MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon across the Gulf Coast, particularly near coastal areas. While rain won’t be continuous, some communities could see multiple rounds of storms.

Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop mainly after 1 p.m., with the best chance along coastal counties. Inland areas will see fewer storms, with most activity clearing out by evening.
