NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tennesseans have been sharing their stories of Dolly Parton through the ages, but for one local publicist, he spent time with the country star in a way not many had.
“I feel like she was a literal angel on Earth,” Aaron Crisler, a publicist and former Dollywood performer, told News 2.
According to Parton’s team, the 80-year-old icon passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25 at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville, surrounded by loved ones, after “bravely facing a brief battle with cancer.”
