Permits have been issued for a three-story, 44-unit apartment building at 4912 Griscom Street in Frankford, clearing the way for a $13 million development on a vacant lot one block from Frankford Avenue.
The project, reported by Philly YIMBY, will sit between Harrison Street and Wakeling Street, directly across Griscom Street from Jefferson Frankford Hospital. Project HOME is listed as the owner, with CBP Architects designing the building and Domus Inc. as the contractor.
What the permits show
The approved development spans 33,628 square feet of new construction on a consolidated parcel covering 4912 through 4934 Griscom Street. The building footprint is 11,054 square feet. Floor plans show six dwelling units on the first floor alongside shared amenities including laundry, a gym, bicycle storage, office space and meeting rooms.
