West Sacramento felon gets 4+ years in prison for 3rd gun offense

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A West Sacramento man was sentenced to more than 4 years in prison for illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California.

Richard Lee Dazo, 40, received a sentence of 4 years and 3 months on Thursday from U.S. District Judge Daniel J. Calabretta. This marks Dazo’s third conviction for being a felon with a firearm.
