It was just last year when Graffeo Coffee outfitted a 1984 Ferraro 308 with an espresso machine in the trunk. The vintage vehicle appeared at numerous events, including Monterey Car Week, NASCAR events, and wine and food festivals. Graffeo, San Francisco’s oldest coffee roaster, has since acquired a second vintage Ferrari 308, but this one is better suited to navigate San Francisco’s hills. It’s also being given away.
This all started when co-owner Walter A. Haas learned of co-owner Luciano Repetto’s passion for Ferraris. After the vintage sports car was purchased in 2025, Graffeo worked with Church of the Air Cooled to outfit the Ferrari’s trunk with a classic La Pavoni lever espresso machine. Suffice it to say, the Ferrari’s unique trunk space drew a lot of attention and admirers.
“The spirit of Graffeo and this car is exceptional Italian craftsmanship, which is why we’ve acquired a second Ferrari 308 better suited for San Francisco’s hills, and outfitted it with an espresso machine,” said Haas. “We’ve since decided that this first Ferrari belongs in a fan’s hands and driveway, pulling shots in the most extravagant way possible, not sitting idle in ours.”…
