Arkansas Medicaid is preparing to begin covering doula services September 1st after state lawmakers approved rules implementing the new maternal health benefit.
The Arkansas Legislative Council approved the rules August 21st, clearing the legislative hurdle that remained when the proposal was considered earlier this month.
