Bryan Kohberger’s new attorney has filed a motion to disqualify the judge in his case and has asked for a change of venue for his post-conviction proceeding.
The motions, filed Thursday by attorney Gregory Rauch, come after Kohberger last month — in his first media statement since being convicted of first-degree murder for killing four University of Idaho students — claimed that he is innocent and blamed his defense team for leading him to make a false confession.
