(WGHP) — Isolated showers and storms are possible this evening. Storms are ongoing in the foothills this afternoon with a few severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds. The risk for severe weather remains through Friday evening, but not everyone is guaranteed rain. Isolated flash flooding is a concern with storms this evening due to plenty of moisture availability and the slow movement of storms.
Rain chances drop slightly by 8 p.m. Keep an eye on the skies if you’re heading out this evening. Temperatures will be in the 70s after 8 p.m., and clouds stick around for the overnight.
We’ll start Saturday in the upper 60s with mostly cloudy skies. It’s not out of the question to see some areas of patchy fog early Saturday morning as well due to lingering moisture and light winds. Skies remain mostly cloudy throughout the start of our weekend, and afternoon highs reach the low to mid 80s.
