After more than a half-century in Isla Vista, the senior living community Friendship Manor is moving to Santa Barbara’s Eastside. This summer, the retirement community’s management FC announced that Friendship Manor had purchased 711 N Milpas Street, the former site of Capitol Hardware.
“This [site] was really appealing because it’s on a main corridor,” Friendship Manor boardmember Eva Turenchalk said.
