MORTON GROVE, Ill. (WGN) — Police in Morton Grove seek the public’s help in locating a missing man whom the department says may be experiencing a severe mental health crisis.
According to police, 60-year-old Jungsook Kang is believed to be armed with a handgun.
Authorities described Kang as 5 feet 10 inches, weighing 162 pounds, with a slim build and a receding hairline. Kang is usually seen wearing a gray Nike baseball cap, black polo, khaki shorts, and black boat shoes.
Police ask anyone who may come in contact with Yang not to approach, as police say he may pose a danger to himself and others. If spotted, police suggest calling 911 immediately or calling (847) 470-5200.
