Saturday was all about the animals as several area shelters took part in “Clear the Shelters,” a nationwide effort to help animals find forever homes.
At Because You Care in McKean, cats enjoyed plenty of playtime and extra attention from volunteers. But officials said they really want these animals to have a place to call home.
Megan Duckett, the Executive Director with Because You Care said the organization has many cats and dogs waiting for their forever homes, We have so many cats and dogs that need a forever home, and there’s so many more that are waiting to come in to find a forever home. And it’s a great way to get these guys adopted and help others that need our help.”
