EAST LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – East Lansing police say they are increasing enforcement during Welcome Weekend this year, following several incidents during the same weekend last year.
The department says it will have increased patrols, drones and mounted units brought in from Oakland County to boost its presence downtown. Michigan State Police helicopters and drones will also provide additional monitoring.
