Jimmy Doyle has lived the kind of life they write songs about.
Before he even left home as a young man, Doyle’s destiny had pretty well presented itself to him. He grew up on the Arkansas Grand Prairie near Stuttgart, learning the timeless arts of farming and moonshine production from his father. Like Johnny Cash himself, Doyle came from one of those Arkansas spots that managed to duck under the sight of maps, a little hamlet founded by his ancestors called Brewer Bottoms…
