WEST FORK, Ark. (KNW/KFTA) — When an Arkansas State Police officer pulled over behind a car on the side of a busy highway, it wasn’t to issue a ticket or make an arrest. It was to offer kindness and help to a couple during a time of emergency.
According to a Saturday morning social media post, ASP received a message from a couple who found themselves stranded with a flat tire on the side of a busy highway near West Fork. The couple reported they had tried to reach roadside assistance, which never showed up to their assistance.
However, Trooper Bynum of Troop L with ASP pulled over, offering what help she could so that the couple could get back on the road…
