TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Today and Sunday for all of Santa Cruz County, most of Pima County including Tucson Metro, Western Cochise County, and Southeastern Pinal County.
Increasing moisture will bring scattered rain and storm chances today and tomorrow. Parts of Southeast Arizona face a marginal to slight risk of excessive rainfall over both days. Be sure to stay weather-aware and watch for flooded roads, flash flooding, gusty winds, blowing dust, and heavy downpours.
Extreme heat will stick around for one more day, with the Extreme Heat Warning set to expire later this evening. Rain chances will linger into Monday as temperatures finally drop back into the double digits, hovering in the 90s…
