RUIDOSO, N.M. – A rare South Polar skua from Antarctica has drawn bird watchers to Grindstone Lake after turning up more than 8,000 miles from home.
Bird enthusiasts spotted the seabird at the reservoir near Ruidoso a few weeks ago.
