TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through tonight for metro Tucson, central to eastern Pima County, western Cochise County, and all of Santa Cruz County. Radar tracked scattered storm activity earlier this morning north and east of Tucson. We’ll track another round of scattered strong to severe storms later today. These storms are capable of producing heavy downpours, localized flash flooding, gusty outflow winds, and blowing dust.
While rain chances will linger into Monday, the severity of tomorrow’s storms will largely depend on today’s weather activity. Temperatures will remain in the double digits, hovering in the comfortable 90s throughout the upcoming workweek, offering a brief break before storm chances return toward the end of the week.
