A Conroe man has pleaded guilty to federal charges in connection with an illegal duck hunting operation authorities say he ran in 2023.
Richard Lee Bowers, 55, pleaded guilty Friday to one count of violating the Lacey Act, a federal wildlife protection law first passed in 1900. The law prohibits the trafficking of wildlife and plants that have been illegally harvested or hunted.
