Politicians, community leaders, national activists and celebrities attended a rally of more than 800 community members on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Gibsons Restaurant in Oak Brook to support Chris Getty’s candidacy for the 4th Congressional District for Congress.
Getty drew strong endorsements from an array of Chicagoland elected officials and politicians, and the endorsements of several celebrity personalities, including former Chicago Police Supt.
