South Carolina women’s soccer went on the road Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon, respectively, to face Wyoming and Colorado State, two teams the program had never played before.
Before the pair of matchups, head coach Shelley Smith talked about the unique challenges the road trip presented.
“One of the challenges is obviously you’re traveling a long way, and you’re going to elevation, which is hard to maneuver in,” Smith said. “So, we have to understand that there will be some adversity you don’t normally face on shorter trips.”…
