KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School boys varsity and junior varsity soccer teams both played in the David Ni Memorial Westside Shootout Saturday and didn’t give up a goal all day.
The varsity opened by beating Kalamazoo Loy Norrix 1-0 in dramatic fashion, as Muthana Hajaji scored with 2:30 left in the game, assisted by Ahmed Norman.
Goalkeeper Jensley Norvilus then blocked a Loy Norrix penalty kick as time expired to preserve the win. He had a total of nine saves for the game, as Coldwater outshot the Knights 10-9…
