City and state officials cut the ribbon Friday on a new affordable housing apartment building for seniors.
Wellington Park Apartments brings 45 one- and two-bedroom units to the southside area of Lexington at 3125 Dorcester Place. The apartments are owned and operated by AU Associates, one of Lexington’s major affordable housing developers.
Wellington Park, Meijer, Target, and Fayette Mall are all within walking distance. The city’s upcoming senior and therapeutic center at Shillito Park will also be convenient to residents…
