An iconic eatery in Hopewell served the community more than food for nearly 43 years.
The legacy of Carr Brothers Eatery and Gathering Place, owned by Toni Carr Hathaway, has been passed on to a mother and son, Priscilla Dolloff-Crane and Daric Crane, who are excited to begin a new legacy of their own.
“People have always gone there for more than food. They come for the nostalgia, the stories and the people,” Hathaway said. “Hopewell needs places where we can come back, remember those who have passed, welcome those who are new, and sit around a table with different generations reminiscing about the good old days.”…
