KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in Outagamie County say part of County Road U in Kaukauna will be closed starting on Monday, and a detour is in place.
According to a release from the Outagamie County Highway Department, a portion of County Road U will be closed in the towns of Kaukauna and Oneida starting on Monday for roadway rehabilitation work and pavement replacement.

Officials say the project is necessary in order to address several roadway and pavement deficiencies as well as to completely replace or improve a number of drainage, culverts, and other roadway accessories.
While the closure of County Road U is in place, local access will remain maintained for residents, garbage pickup, and mail delivery.
