Lanes reopened on westbound I-44 after crash in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Lanes were reopened after a portion of Interstate 44 was shut down Monday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned in south St. Louis.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), the crash occurred around 5 a.m. on westbound I-44 at I-55 near Lafayette Square.

Details on the crash are unclear. The lanes later reopened around 6:45 a.m.
