Eugene police arrest man for crime spree targeting three delis in three days

A 59-year-old man was arrested by Eugene police at gunpoint after targeting three local delis in three days, according to Eugene Police Department (EPD).

Police identified the suspect as Raymond Anthony Wilson, 59, of Eugene. He is accused of burglarizing two delis and robbing a third between Aug. 27 and Aug. 29.

The first reported burglary happened at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 at Anna’s Deli on Coburg Road. The deli’s manager called police to report that a new employee had stolen more than $500 from the store’s video lottery machines.
