On August 31, 2026, Nasya Duvall, age 27, was sentenced by Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Schiffer, to the maximum term under his plea agreement, for the first-degree murder of Dion Huff, age, 49 on September 27, 2024.
Huff, affectionately known as “Tuna” by his friends and family, was shot in the back of the head by the defendant, as he was walking on the 2500 Block of Greenmount Avenue. The prosecutor noted that the defendant was recognized fleeing the scene by a police officer, and was tracked to the location of the shooting by data from his GPS ankle monitor, which he was wearing as part of a previous parole and probation deal.
The prosecutor also mentioned that the defendant stands accused of additional crimes while in jail, including drug use, having home-made knives, in his cell, and that the defendant allegedly claimed to have killed multiple other people. She argued that this was evidence that the Judge should sentence the defendant to the maximum extent possible under the plea deal, which ranged from 45-55 years…
