Nocterra Brewing Co. has abruptly halted operations at both locations. As of today, operations at both the Powell and Audubon locations have paused. According to an email to employees obtained by 614Now, the business is “on hiatus as we work to find the final path for Nocterra.”

In the email to employees, co-owner and co-founder Bryan Duncan said, “It’s with incredibly heavy hearts that we are confirming the rumor mill. Noctera has run its last shift as of today. Heartbreak doesn’t even begin to describe it. We understand the impact this has on all of you, and we promise we exhausted every resource, connection, ability, and dollar at our disposal to find a path allowing Nocterra to continue under its current structure. Unfortunately we are out of runway to keep fighting. Starting Monday 8/31, operations at both locations are on hiatus as we work to find the final path for Nocterra.
