NEWBURGH, Ind (WEHT) – At the National Guard Association of the United States conference, the 151st infantry Indiana National Guard Unit, also known as the Indiana Rangers, were given the Presidential Unit Citation for their work during the Vietnam War.
This is the highest award a unit can receive with 45 soldiers of the original 212 present at the ceremony. Among them was Larry Rhodes who served in the company for 11 months.
