Man in Greenville County sentenced to 40 years for kidnapping and assault

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – On August 28, a Greenville County jury found 50-year-old Robert Wilson Voorhees guilty of Kidnapping and Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature, announced by Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor Cindy S. Crick.

Following the conviction, the Honorable Perry Gravely sentenced Voorhees to 40 years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
