SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The City of Savannah is helping residents conserve water and save money on their utility bills by hosting a free rain barrel giveaway through Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026.
The initiative will distribute rain barrels at various community centers and municipal facilities throughout the city.
In addition to receiving a free rain barrel, qualified utility customers can apply for and receive a credit on their stormwater utility fee once their new rain barrel is fully installed…
