GARFIELD, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A man accused of attacking an Arkansas State Police trooper is in custody, according to Benton County Sheriff Shawn Holloway.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office shared in a Monday morning message it was seeking information on a 20-year-old Hispanic man wearing red floral swim trunks and a red hoodie.
Arkansas State Police say the man assaulted a trooper in the Garfield area, with authorities subsequently searching the area near Limekiln Road. A spokesperson for the agency confirmed to KNWA/FOX24 that the trooper had a laceration to his head. He has since been treated and released…
