OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — A Poplar Grove man was both drunk and high on drugs when he led Ogle County police on a chase that ended after he disabled his car on Saturday, according to police.
The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office reported that multiple deputies were called in to assist Oregon Police in pursuit of a driver who was last seen headed northbound on N. Illinois Route 2 around 8:47 p.m.
At 9:07 p.m., deputies located Jarrett Moriarty, 32, on foot in the 4000 block of N. Route 2. His vehicle was found disabled a short time later, stuck on a concrete box culvert…
